Foundry Privacy Policy

Foundry is a private fitness and wellness tracking application operated by Steve French through Special Projects.

Information collected

Foundry handles information entered into the app, including workout records, exercise programs, food entries, nutrition estimates, body measurements, and related notes.

If you choose to connect WHOOP or Withings, Foundry may also access the health and fitness information you authorize, such as sleep, recovery, activity, weight, or body composition.

How information is used

Information is used to maintain your records, display progress, and provide the tracking features you choose to use.

Service providers

Foundry uses third-party infrastructure, including OpenAI Sites, Cloudflare, and Supabase, to support hosting and data storage. Information you separately submit to ChatGPT is also subject to OpenAI’s privacy policies.

Your choices

Connecting an outside health service is optional. You can withdraw that service’s authorization through its account settings. Disconnecting a service does not necessarily delete information previously received by Foundry.

Retention and deletion

Records you enter into Foundry are retained to maintain your fitness history until you request their deletion. To request deletion, email steve@specialprojects.fm. Requests are handled manually.

Information obtained from connected services is subject to those providers’ retention requirements. Deleting information from Foundry does not delete your accounts or original records held by WHOOP, Withings, or ChatGPT.
